More About Me
I graduated from Lauterstein-Conway Massage School & Clinic in 2019, and started my career in a chiropractor's office, which was followed by several years working alongside PTs. Since then, I have worked with one of the best sports massage companies in Austin, and can often be found working sporting events like the Cap10K. I now work primarily in college athletics alongside PTs, Chiropractors, Athletic Trainers, and several other medical modalities. My particular style of massage has evolved to be more targeted and medical based, using techniques such as Deep Tissue*, Orthopedic, Sports, and Therapeutic. My pressure skill varies, but the techniques that I employ work best with medium to deep pressure, as well as targeted pressure (such as with trigger point therapy). I am on here primarily to maintain my own body by seeking out trades**, either of massages or of knowledge, as I can show you some techniques to further your own skills. *Deep Tissue and deep pressure are not the same. Deep Tissue is a technique that manipulates the muscle tissue at a slower rate with slightly more leverage involved, but it does not have to be at a deep pressure, or a painful one. I start my Deep Tissue at medium, and work towards a deeper pressure if the muscle responds accordingly and requires that level of pressure. **I am now only accepting trades from other bodywork professionals and students, and only enthusiasts who have reviews of their previous trades available on their profile.
