More About Me (Therapeutic Directory)
Lifetime fitness enthusiast with extensive knowledge of routine sports and fitness related aches, pains, and tensions. I started exploring massage exchange when a certain "List" community was still used by humans and not bots, and found it to be an amazing way to give pleasure doing something I can do very well AND that also fills the "meet somebody new and exciting" niche without the non-Platonic complications. I am, if I may say it, exceptionally strong and have very big hands, qualities that were always useful in sports but that have proven to be just as useful in massage! My functional knowledge of the body is very confined to sports and fitness--that's what I know best--and while I am glad to lend a hand if you are just starting out in fitness or are just average and have normal fatigue and tension, I am NOT the person to engage if you are recovering from a serious injury or health problem. I don't know enough about serious injury and clinical pain and would not want make matters worse. In short, whether you are worn down from three yoga sessions a week or having trouble sleeping because you have no cartilage left in your knee and you're still running 25 miles a week, I can help--I would love to. But if you are recovering from a broken back or are experiencing muscle fatigue related to a neurological or circulatory condition, I just don't know enough and would not be confident. But let me know what you need.
