About Me & My Wellness Philosophy
My approach to bodywork is rooted in my own 25-year journey receiving chiropractic care and physiotherapy for sports injuries. This extensive history as a client gives me firsthand insight into chronic tension, structural alignment, and physical recovery, which beautifully informs my intuitive style.
Modalities & Influences
Throughout my life, I have explored a diverse spectrum of holistic and physical disciplines:
Anatomy & Technique: Since youth, I have dedicated hundreds of hours to studying bodywork anatomy and massage techniques, collaborating early on with students of registered massage therapy.
Acupressure & Reflexology: Five years of martial arts training provided a practical understanding of pressure points, which I later expanded into the study of reflexology.
Energy Work & Integration: Introduced to PEMFT and Rhumart therapy early in life, I developed a strong attunement to how the body holds trauma, integrating intuitive energy alignment and Reiki into my practice.
Myofascial & Deep Tissue Release: Inspired by therapeutic methods for sports ailments, I emphasize warming the fascia to release deep tension and trigger points.
Gentle Alignment: I incorporate somatic release and osteopathic-inspired movements. Releasing lower limb tension can often facilitate a natural, systemic realignment.
Experience & Grounding
My music background at the University of Ottawa taught me how physical tension impacts the breath and body, leading to years of practicing stress-relief bodywork in collaborative environments. I also have practical experience utilizing Cranio-Sacral alignment for acute tension, such as headaches, and I consistently incorporate lymphatic flow awareness.

My late wife always championed lymphatic health, breast self-examinations, and stress reduction as pillars of wellness—a philosophy of proactive care and positive energy I carry into every session.
