I have been fortunate to have received many wonderful massages in the past 30 years or so. Unfortunately, I've rarely had the luxury of ongoing, regular weekly or monthly massages, just a matter of insurance +/or money availability. The majority have been with practitioners in clinical environments. For the better part of a year, I worked in an office with a young woman who was studying massage and she came to our home and offered the most intuitive, relaxing and regenerative massage either of us (my husband and I) have ever experienced. She said she was being trained by nuns in bodywork/massage which was fascinating! Obviously a great training background! One delightful discovery for me was comprehensive foot massage. I'd asked the therapist if she could spend a lot of time on my feet (I don't remember why, but I'm glad I did!). It was the most amazing, transformative massage! I laughed a lot and it was truly delightful! Hope to experience that again some day!
