Hello, and I want to thank you for visiting my profile. I have been a Registered Nurse for, we'll just say around 20 years. I am naturally compassionate, caring, and find real joy and fulfillment in helping others which, coupled with years of specialized education, training, and dedication makes me a damn good nurse. I have been pleasantly thrilled how naturally this flows into bodywork.
In 2004, I injured my back while working on a rescue helicopter. Fast forward the past 17 years, dealing with chronic, at times debilitating pain, severe sciatica, multiple procedures, and two back surgeries...
If you suffer from chronic pain, you and I have a connection. For more than 10 years I have been reading, attending classes, lectures, hands-on training modalities to learn about pain, most importantly, how to effectively treat the pain without the harmful effects and risks of medications.
I found massage to be one of the most effective non-pharmacological therapies for decreasing pain, anxiety, and/or improving your headspace. I have been massaging people for 10 years now. Every massage I learn something, ever improving their quality and effectiveness. It has been a rough, but rewarding journey.
