Wish I'd discovered the site before. Always interested in learning more.
Many years ago, I took a couple weeks of massage classes, no specific practice type, mostly to get over my discomfort with touching and being touched. Over time, I became a lover of touch, so much so, that I now have it as one of my primary love languages, and while I haven't been giving massages frequently in the last few years, due to lack of opportunity and limited time for offering, I still enjoy the act of giving, and will frequently do that without a reciprocal massage. (I didn't know how to count the experience time, so I'll arbitrarily call it 1+ year.)
We'll discuss what is comfortable for you, if you have any issues that need to be addressed, sensitivities, what you are seeking before we meet. (I'm willing to present identity credentials when we've scheduled a meeting, and would prefer you do the same.) Boundaries are important, and I won't knowingly violate them. I have a wife and family present in my home, and if I'm offering to host in my home, I'd hope you'd be understanding and respectful.
I'm somewhat out of practice as of July 2021, and can probably only manage 30-45 minutes without a break at this time. While I lack formal training, the folks I've provided massages for, including those in pain, report effective relief, based on my belief that intentional touch heals. I have no specific research or data, which is something I prefer, as I'm a fact based kind of guy.
I view giving massage as a service, which is something that makes me happy, as I identify in the alternative community as a service submissive. If you can teach me something, or provide quality feedback, I'm likely to be interested.
I have rather garden variety of massage oils, nothing special in my mind. Anyone with more knowledge is welcome to suggest things. I have a small amount of CBD / cannabis product in my medicine cabinet, and will use those on request, if reimbursed. (The wife uses them for pain relief, and we find they work well, even in small quantities.)
During a massage, I can either be chatty, or silent, and will talk about life, philosophy , hobbies, and experiences, whatever comes to mind. Incense or not, light or more firm.
I will generally be available on Sundays though Tuesdays, starting around noon, and ending late in the evening. The other days I work a job from around Noon till Midnight, by the time I've reached home and unwound.
