I have massaged my partners in the past. I enjoy doing so because it gives my senses the chance to get to know a person in ways that don't include only sound and sight. I had one partner who had a lot of bunching and tension in her lower back years after an injury. It was always a challenge to untie the knot, and I wasn't always successful, but she always asked me to do it for her to gain relief. In fact, she was not the only partner who had that issue or made that request. My way of moving my hands is firm and cautious and curious and never overzealous. I find tension, and I do my best to work it out. It has never made sense for me to stay in one place and work on one knot or one spot of tension. I work a spot, then I move and come back because of the experience I have being massaged. I try to make the experience round and fulfilling.
