I do a lot of (Recently) house renovations which include a lot more bending, stooping, puling, stretching and straining of muscles in demo work and intensive yard work than I am used to. I had a back injury back in 1986 where I compressed a few discs in my lower back, was off work for over a year, and the "rehabilitated" back into the work force (government) desk job. I have been retired for three years from a 30+ year desk job. I am a sklled craftsman regarding many aspects of home remodeling and have contacts in the field who are trustworthy and reliable if there is anything beyond my abiliies to do alone. I have remodeled and restored historic houses in the Middleburg,Va area where I grew up, and have homes myself that I maintain and improve upon as money allows in: AlexandriaVa , the Thousand islands, NY, and the beautiful Island of Nantucket,Massachusetts. I like working with my hands have made custom wood furniture for friends and clients in the past, and would like to pick that back up as time allows. I would be glad to barter my services.
