I am a retired business executive with an advanced degree who worked at several Fortune 200 companies. Been practicing as a provider for 2+ years and just completed the state required 500 hour course at la local massage school. I am now preparing for state exam and licensure. Previously worked at the school and had an additional 200 hours of hands on training with over 50 student interns in developing and refining their skills and was also an academic instructor (non massage hands on course). Undergrad degree in Biology so I understand anatomy, physiology and kinesiology and the human body and how to maximize the impact of a massage. My sessions include an optional stretching methodologies including pin and stretch and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) for a total full body relaxation. As a "staff member" at the school, I worked with more than 45 student interns in developing and refining their massage skills. I also performed evaluations on students who received less than favorable post session reviews and as a "body on table" for those needing additional training. In working with these interns, they all had their own techniques in addition to the standard techniques taught at the school. I can demonstrate the "best of the best" techniques and, as a receiver, provide you with professional level ideas, insights and feedback to make you better, which was one of my functions at the school. Age, weight or color of skin does not matter. For client safety, I will not perform pre- natal or medical massages.
