I spent a little over a year in required courses related to massage therapy. Eventually going through the classes that actually taught massage itself. Luckily we were able to record so I can keep myself fresh. Before ending my training preemptively I was preforming full body Swedish massage for clinic hours and taking ethics and some extra classes like hot stone. It took so long because I went for the degree, I wanted to teach parents infant massage in hospitals while also freelancing with full body and chair massage. Life got in the way and I needed to find a job that would pay enough for rent and general adult life. I didn't have enough hours for any massage jobs yet so I had to look elsewhere. I want to finish but time will tell
