2nd April 2024 first day back : I've been away from here for 3 months; all the vaccinations but still had Covid over New Year and resulting in long covid with post viral arthritis.
I was a biology teacher interested for many years in aromatherapy, massage and relaxation techniques I was also a volunteer with the Samaritans. In my current job I have completed a 4 day introduction to Counselling and Substance Misuse. So I feel I have a holistic approach to life and supporting people. I originate from The Ribble Valley.
I had intended to qualify in massage and leave teaching but entry requirements were raised so I missed the opportunity to enter at the level I could have done the year previously.
Having crossed the Sahara and climbed in the Himalayas many years ago I think is now time to renew my passport and travel some more; long haul ideas are USA or Australia. I do have relatives in Boston MA but never visited they always came over to visit our side of the family.
March 2020; looks like Coronavirus has put stop to any traveling; I'm also looking to buy a Canal Narrow Boat.
