Greetings! Nice to meet you! My name is J, and I've traveled to different places around the world to take massage workshops as well as energy reading and healing. I actually have more than 10 years experience of professional energy reading and shamanic healing, including the Full Body Presence one month intensive at Esalen Institute.
Naturally gifted with massage, I can also feel and sense tension and go to work needs to be healed. A mixture of intuitive touch, sensing the body, sensing the mind, and working with my hands in a way to heals you at the right places is what I enjoy.
Modalities wise, I've learned a lot from trading with certified massage therapists. I've also learned a little bit of Thai massage in Portland as part of my mandala yoga community, various deep tissue massage techniques, thai stretching via acro yoga as well as myofascial release.
For all massage, safety is paramount to trust, and trust is important in ensuring all parties can let go and explore healing touch in a manner that is agreed-upon. If I'm giving the massage, I feel that it's important to gain your trust, not only because it's the right ethic to do, but it also allows you to really relax into the touch and healing experience.
