Hello! Are you a massage student looking to gain experience working with folks whose circulation is impaired from long COVID? Well I have just the pair of "corpse feet" and blue legs for YOU! I'm a 37yo woman looking for therapeutic massage to avoid further "sequelae" especially (worsening) neuropathy. Bc I am so severely disabled physically--my body bloodchokes me when I move, impairing bloodflow to heart and brain--my ability to reciprocate is limited! However, I USED to study it informally and wanted to more formally study massage after incorporating: I can barter: 1) herbal/holistic food consults; 2) advice on preventing/managing/treating long COVID and related disorders particularly; 3) copy editing, factchecking, ghostwriting/research services; and/or 4) emotional labor (eg, if you're giving me your labor to assist my lymph and blood circulation?! you are welcome to trauma dump on me, preferably at a separate time!). If you're looking to learn to work with bodies with various impairments (SCI, CP) I have many new friends in the wider disability community who may be similarly interested.
