Many years ago I started training in acupressure-type massage but never completed a program. I began learning how to integrate a technique called Jin Shin Jitsu with my own intuitive style. What I offer is far from traditional, but actually incorporates the use of the voice of either receiver or giver or both. It could be characterized as having roots in the sound healing aspects of classical Indian music, but is much more than that, combining massage and release points with vocal exploration, in a manner similar to practices of the Roy Heart school for voice work. for example, I combine aspects of music and sound/vibrational healing with physical massage, so some sessions may involve emotional release and healing along with the physically therapeutic experience, when a client requests this possibility.
