More About Me

I have 16 years of massage experience and have dealt with many painful conditions in my own body; I had spinal cord surgery for spinal stenosis at C5-C6 in 2007 and broke my ankle in both the tibia and fibula in 2009. I am very empathetic and intuitive, helping people deal with pain. I have a very good grasp of anatomy and physiology which helps me understand why people develop certain pain patterns. I use an eclectic mix of different bodywork techniques that I have learned over the years. I am the adopted mother of a special needs 11 year old son and have worked on my own childhood issues in order to understand and help him deal with his. I believe strongly in making time to receive bodywork and look forward to exchanging with other practioners who use modalities that I am not very familiar with, especially cranial-sacral work.
