More About Me (Therapeutic Directory)
I was born on a US naval base in Morocco, to an Italian mother and a Filipino father. My father served in the US Navy as a cook so I grew up loving food. I grew up in Jacksonville, Florida when our family moved here in 1967.
After graduation from Sandalwood high school, I enlisted in The United States Marine Corps, and after eight years service in the Infantry, I was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant.
I worked with customer service for over 18 years with almost ten years as a customer care consultant with America Online.
After an automobile accident in September of 2004, I found massage therapy to be very therapeutic for my injuries. This changed my career path as I enrolled in The Heritage Institute where I earned an Occupational of Applied Science (OAS) degree in massage therapy with certification in neuromuscular massage therapy. (NMT)
I try to stay physically active and run almost every morning, and work out later in the day. My certifications include Personal Trainer and Boxing Fitness Instructor; I am also attaining my black belt in Karate and am a junior instructor at a dojo in the Beaches area. .
I am married to my lovely wife Linda of 15 years and I have 2 dogs and a bird, a 7-year-old Golden Retriever named Nettington, a stray Jack Russell mix named Tessa and a 3 year old Sun Conure (small parrot)named Rothbury. .
I am passionate at what I do as a massage therapist. Just because I graduated and am in the field I never stop learning. In the future for me is reiki, refloxology, cranial/sacrial and facial massage. I left behind a position of stress and I went forward into a career where I can help other people remember what it was like not to have neck and back pain.
