I have read many books about the subject along w/ a few training videos. I also used to go to a Massage School as a client for the students. What I found there is the students would speak or whisper to keep themselves correct w/ their technique. I converted all of that informal education and practiced on friends of both sexes.
I like when the person receiving the massage is encouraged to speak up and explain what they like and don't like.
