I used to be a LMT in the early 90's, but let my license lapse when life got in the way. At the time, I had a full time career in engineering, and two young children. In 2005, I made my first trip to the Esalen Institute in Big Sur California. I was taking a writing workshop. Since I was there, I decided to sign up for a therapy session, since they are world renowned for bodywork. Up to then I had (given and) received many massages, but nothing as nurturing and fabulous as the experience I received from one of the staff therapists there. At that point, I was "hooked". Since then, I have made annual trips back for the purpose of attending week long Esalen massage workshops. I am also an avid musician and Yoga enthusiast. I am interested in finding like minded therapists to exchange with, to share knowledge, to practice with. I am happily married and not seeking infidelity of any kind. My best trait is that I am highly empathetic, non judgmental, and am a great listener.
