More About Me
Touch must be the most effective way to communicate care and affection and connect to others beyond words. It heals the mind, body and spirit. Before we could talk, we were touching. Touch is warmth. Touch is sacred. As we knead the body on the table, we knead the soul in heaven. We are all healers by birth. Yet few of us recognize our own ability, let alone pursue it.
I noticed my deep interest in massage relatively recently. Now I know it's already become a passion after several workshops and practicing on friends and family who agreed to be my guinea pigs. You know it's time to reach out to the larger community when you catch yourself wanting to rub your fellow passengers' shoulders on the metro! Thanks to this site, I've had amazing partners and learned a great deal on several aspects of massage from folks of all walks of life. Hopefully, I've contributed to their well-being as well. I offer Swedish and deep tissue as I rely on my intuition for scanning the body. I honor and respect my partners' knowledge and boundaries. I can host at times or drive reasonable distances with my table. Other than massage, I've been offering a form of energy healing. An avid explorer of consciousness, I practice meditation, yoga, and swimming. I love nature, animals, and mind-expanding, heart-opening discussions. I honor all expressions of life, creation and freedom.
My ideal partner is responsive and clean as well as excited to share her/his gift and eager to discover mine. One's schooling is immaterial if one's touch is not genuine. A sincere effort and enthusiasm to be present and nurture one's partner can yield much more benefit. I don't care if you're a beginner, we all start somewhere. I care if you've realized that surrendering your bare body in someone else's hands is probably the ultimate display of trust.
