I have been doing professional massage since 1992. I studied Active Isolated Stretching (AIS)with Aaron Mattes and Jim and Phil Wharton, and regularly work with athletes. In 2000 I began developing my own style of treatment which I call Soft Tissue Active Recovery Technique, [STAR Tech] based on AIS and Soft Tissue Release. Before the start of the pandemic I gave workshops for the public that taught how to relieve pain yourself. I also gave advanced training workshops for Massage Therapists and other BodyWorkers. I had also been teaching Men's Massage Workshops for men who wanted to learn new techniques and experience the joy of touch. Since the pandemic I teach Active Stretching classes weekly via ZOOM.
