More About Me
Massage has been a part of my life since I was about 10 years old. Two of my Aunts are Massage Therapists as well, & one in particular would always give me the best massages whenever I'd see her. I feel fortunate that I grew up around massage, & it's something I've always enjoyed sharing... healing & helping others also creates a closeness w/ those I love.
I've also had several 9-5 desk jobs. But I usually felt stifled & fenced-in, shuffling paper, answering phone calls & emails. My boredom threshold would max-out when I'd mastered the skills required. I recall a moment w/ a past Boss that sums it up nicely: He
said to me, "So, I see you've been working overtime lately. You must be making some nice extra money, huh?" I barely looked up from whatever repetitive task I was zoning out on & said, "Yes, I'm exchanging units of time for units of money." My aim was to throw him a piece of his own bone right back to him... make him chew on it a while.
I would give massage regardless of money. But probably not as much & definitely not with strangers. Money is still what we all need some of, so massage is a great way to
balance what I need vs. my wants.
In my spare time (ya, right!) I am a full-time Mother of 16- month
old Boy-Girl twins, plus a
Member for 13 years
