I've always been interested in exercise, diet, nutrition, and anything healthy. I'm vegetarian, and have practiced giving & receiving massages (mostly non-sexual) for years. I've studied anatomy, and agree with the Chinese who say that there is only one problem: congestion, or blockage, and only one solution: circulation. My goal is that people feel better after their massage. I tend to have more large clients, and would like some thinner ones, as margins/landmarks are easier to see/find.
When I give a massage I forget time, and am totally focused on alleviating stress and tension. On a full body massage, I often spend half of my efforts on the back because people are so loaded with tensions there. If this sounds like you, I will start with the back and end with the back.
I take it as a compliment when people fall asleep during a massage. They often totally relax, space out, and let go.
