As I have not given or received massage yet from here I could only guess. But from past experiences I would say that a massage is to be a relaxing experience; So some parameters agreed beforehand for sure. For the peace of mind. Then; Yes, let it unfold and drift away into the bliss that is a massage. And whatever stems from there is all part of the relaxing as well. I always feel better after sharing something personal with someone else.

For any form of massage the basic parameters need to be set. For sensual massage the basic parameters are possibly more detailed and subject to prior agreement.

Agree on basic parameters then go with honest and open communications. I don't want to be on the table and have hands on my genitals because the other person thinks it is going that way.

I think basic parameters are important, to understand boundaries, understand certain needs in areas that may be extra sore or tight. Understand what they like in massage, then let the hands flow and emotions go. :)

I like setting a few simple boundaries first, then letting the rest evolve organically. Being mostly on the receiving side, I enjoy surrendering to the experience and allowing the connection and chemistry to guide where it goes.

It depends on the vibe I'm getting from the other person. If they seem suspect then I'll state my boundaries clearly. For example don't take my hand and push it into your crotch, or don't surreptitiously take your clothes off and launch into a body slide. Amazing how much some people assume without asking. Apart from that I like to let the giver use their intuition and palpation to guide the massage. It's best when you can trust them enough to let go.

Just go with the flow, I let the other person know that I don’t have any boundaries and no need to ask for permission. Just go with the chemistry and heat of the moment

I have very few boundaries however I like to know my partner's boundaries/limits. Once those are set then the rest can unfold organically and let our bodies dictate the direction.

Ideally only clarify the rough outline (e.g. I don't do feet...) to avoid disappointment or go completely with the flow, I am relaxed about either, as there is mostly enough overlap if both parties are a bit flexible... 

Don't over-plan. Massage exchange is about connection, chemistry and sometimes desire and these develop as the massage unfolds...

Listen especially carefully when massaging ladies, the smallest sound and purr can be the best guide...

The planning time is the best opportunity to check if we can communicate well with the other person, because good communication is essential for a good massage !

I normally prefer to clarify expected outcomes or hard boundaries in advance and then once we meet decide if we will go with the flow within those boundaries
