Jim is a terrific masseur and has a very soothing set up in his massage space. There is a waterfall just beyond the glass door in the garden which trickles and relaxes the senses. The lighting and music are low and calming. Jim's style of massage is a combination of techniques he's learned from various sources: Thai, Shiatsu, other things I don't know much about - but they feel great. He includes some gentle stretches in his massage, lifting your limbs and rotating or pushing slightly to address tension in hamstrings, armstrings and other taut fibers of the body. He is very thorough and will take his time, almost never letting his hands release your body completely until the massage is over. I had a very rewarding experience with Jim and hope not too many other people will fill up his schedule now.

Ray is very knowledgeable. Thanks for the work around my shoulder and neck. He uses a combination of techniques which result in an excellent massage. He gave me a thorough session and spent as much time as was neccesary. Absolutely one of the best. I strongly recommend him.

pillowcase has a wonderful massage technique, giving thorough attention to different body areas. I felt each area was treated as important.

Particularly enjoyed the extensive neck and shoulder work, circular inner strokes of the upper arms and side of rib cage, the reverse effleurage from lower back to shoulders, and long flowing leg massage right to the hip.

The weight of the heated water-pads added to the deep relaxation.

Overall the massage had a good sequence and focus.

Kim gave me the most amazing Lomi Lomi massage, there was so much energy and her touch was spot on. I felt lifted afterwards. I hope to return the massage and improve my own Lomi Lomi skills. She is a brilliant person.

I exchanged with apollo70 and what an amazing experience that was!!! He is an awesome man. For not being a pro, he has an amazing set of hands, he has tremendous knowledge of the body and muscle groups, and he is very polite, respectful, and discreet. Being a massage therapist myself, I wasn't sure what to expect from someone who is not a therapist yet, but he really blew my mind. He has a soft gentle caressing touch that almost put me in a state of bliss! I can't wait until our next trade. I think I have found a lifelong massage partner.

Juraho and I exchanged on 28th April and it was a most impressive session in terms of the quality of his bodywork. He is thorough and works with an excellent range of strokes and degrees of firmness, not too soft and not too hard. The therapy he administered was first class and helped me de-stress after a major breakdown with my car that had been towed away but during the swap I was able to forget these problems and enjoy a highly impressive massage session. Will hope to repeat sometime soon and definitely recommend to others able to provide similar in return.

The techniques used were a great combination of remedial and relaxation massage and just what I needed to relieve a pain in my neck and shoulder. pab and I had a chance to exchange when he was in NYC recently on business. He's a great conversationalist and we spent a bit of time chatting and discussing the type of of massages we each preferred before beginning the exchange. pab's style is very intuitive. His massages are not the least bit "cookie-cutter". He checked in throughout the massage and was interested in how I was feeling and adjusting as needed. In my experience it's rare to find someone so experienced who genuinely enjoys giving and receiving touch. I can't recommend him highly enough. If I find myself out his way I will definitely exchange with him and also look forward to reconnecting when he's out this way again. If he ever gives up his day job he would definitely have a great career in massage. Do yourself a favor and exchange with pab...you definitely won't regret it!

This was my first exchange through this website and I feel privilleged that it was with Henry as I gained a lot. I also got more motivation for carry on exchanging. Henry gave me full body treatment which was kind of deep tissue and sport massage altogether(i let him to choose treatment and it was 100% what my body needed). Henry was extremely thorough and knoledgeable about muscle(attachement, functions...etc), he found all my troubles even little ones, and I felt at ease with him. I highly recommend him and will plan to exchange again with him. Thank you Henry.

A professional touch. He moves as he feels necessary and it reminded me of techniques taught on a holistic course a few years ago. His style was intuitive and intensely relaxing. Further study and experience will deepen his work and bodywork movement. This was a great swap and well worth repeating in the near future.

I met rich last week for an exchange and being both beginners, we swapped tips and helped each as we went along. rich has a natural understanding of what the body needs and his massage was great, he is an easy going bloke, very relaxed and this comes across in the massage he gives. rich is also a genuinely nice bloke (with a great sense of humour) and i highly recommend him to others.

The "veryhappyone" gives a fantastic massage and he is also a great instructor. I have only given a few massages and he told exactly what he was doing when massaging me and then provide guidance when I did him. I will be back for a 2nd lesson on my next trip to Tampa.

Our conversation easily flowed through the massage and only stopped as his touch took me to that amazing place of total relaxation. His hands are strong and he was able to give me the exact amount of pressure I needed.

i met Mick last week for a massage and his knowledge, personality and expertise provided one of the best massages i have ever had. Mick's understanding of how the body works put me at ease and his down to earth manner made me feel very relaxed. Mick explained and demonstrated the difference in technique that a sports massage offers. i learnt a lot from Mick that afternoon and went away feeling totally relaxed and rejuvenated. i hope that one day i will be able do massages to the same standard as Mick. I would highly recommend Mick to other Massage Exchange users.
