When a work traveler of Pedal’s renown reaches out to schedule a session, the answer is yes! And I’m so glad to have exchanged with him. At 6’ 5”, or so, he is likely the tallest man I’ve worked on and I noticed the difference in being able to do long strokes on his body as opposed to guys who are shorter. Pedal quickly relaxed into the table and I spent an enjoyable hour practicing a Swedish session with some mixed modalities, mostly on his upper back, where I found a few knots. Under his hands, I quickly found myself relaxing and observing his advanced skills. Pedal is superior in stretching, something at which I’m not skilled. And, after I’d shared having recently taken a flight and was feeling “folded,” he effortlessly moved me on the table to unwound my tight muscles. It was exactly what I needed! Pedal is an easy-going, generous, professional-level talented and thoughtful exchange partner. He mentioned that his travels bring him DC area at times; I can only hope our paths cross again. I've registered an account at www.massageexchange.com after overworking doing massages. My knee with the lower half of my right leg became sore, also I felt the pain inside of the knee along the ACL fibers. I was lucky that the next day Ashvish found me and we exchanged massages. Getting the massage, I was laying on my side. Ashvish slided his fist along the peroneals that solved 50% of the problem. Then, I asked him to do something with the irritated ACL inside of the knee. Ashvish is very intuitive and creative. It seems, he realized that he can massage on the surface of the knee projecting this strokes to ACL fibers that are much deeper. So he moved his elbow on the skin, but I was feeling that he was moving it along the ACL fibers inside of the knee. jonboy1963 made the trek into central London and brought along delightful coconut oil to use for our exchange. we both commented how we are used to working on tables but made the best of a soft mattress. That we broke the ice by chatting online prior to our exchange made both of us feel at ease when we met. zkefman is a hidden humble gem whose massage was the best among 500+ massages that I had in my life. His focus was always under the skin of my body to feel fibers, their configuration, to melt adhesions, to soften tension and soreness. He is experienced to use a lot of modalities. He is experienced to do traditional Swedish massage, deep tissue, stretching. He even used some techniques to reinforce the flow of prana along the microcosm orbit of my body. I was curious about many of his strokes, thinking "What is was?" but I kept silence not to interrupt his amazing dance of massage. zkefman positions himself as a Bodywork Enthusiast. Actually, he graduated a medical institute, worked in emergency room, and even worked in the American Scientific Bio-Medical Institute. Could you realize how high educational level in the overall medicine, human anatomy and physiology he has? Actually, his knowledge and skills are enough to be qualified as a massage therapist, but it needs time to follow the procedure, to pass exams. If you have a chance to exchange massages with zkefman, use your chance.

It was great to reconnect with lbbreathe, a therapist that I had traded with years ago (separately from this site). He's still got it! It is a joy to work with someone who has been trained and is in his body. And I especially enjoy receiving his appreciative comments on my unique techniques. Its nice to work on someone who knows the difference between a nice rubdown and a master massage therapy session. Just make sure to confirm ahead of time, before leaving. Though the room was a bit stuffy/confining and I would bring my own face cradle and oil/lotion next time or do it at my studio, overall it was a great experience and I look forward to doing it again soon.
