cbob and I exchanged a wonderful massage. We're both getting back into massage after a break, but it really doesn't show with cbob. His massage technique is sublime: smooth, firm and confident strokes. He untied knots - especially in my complicated back! - and applied the perfect degree of pressure. He was also a joy to massage; very responsive and affirming. I felt safe with cbob and he helped to melt away the anxiety I felt after such a long time away from massage.

I find it a good sign when, upon showing up for a massage session, my exchange partner has a dedicated room for his practice that’s equipped with everything one could need for a professional massage session, much less a session between enthusiasts. I knew I would be in the hands of a skilled practitioner and blackamericandoc1 (bamdoc) did not disappoint. He is clearly well practiced and applies the self-study he’s done to an approach that left me feeling like I’d been transported. I was so very relaxed from his excellent attention to addressing areas of tension that I forgot to observe his technique so as to learn new skills. Being on bamdoc’s table is like getting a warm, intimate hug from a good friend; it’s an experience I didn’t want to end. I can only hope to have provided him a good experience at my turn massaging him. I’ll choose to accept his generous assessment provided as we relaxed afterwards while having a lively chat about shared interests. In all a delightful experience with a super smart, urbane man who is also wonderfully skilled at massage. Thanks bamdoc, let’s soon meet again.

Among the best parts of being in the Massage Exchange community are the people I’ve been fortunate to meet for some great exchange sessions. Today’s exchange with deeptissuemassage (dtm) is high among the best of those experiences. From our initial contact through meeting today, the most salient thing about dtm is his incredible personal warmth. He is a truly nice guy with whom I felt immediately comfortable as we settled into table adjusting, final touches on the setting and music selection while trading more getting-to-know-yous. We are really well matched skill-wise at our level of massage. I worked on dtm first with focus on his upper body and later some targeted work on knots in his quads and calfs. He has a great body reflective of the physicality of his work but also showing his commitment to yoga and self-care. His deep-tissue technique was great, especially as — happily for me — he gave attention to my lats, lower back and, at 6’3”, my long legs. And his foot work makes for stuff that’s melt-worthy. Despite having to take on a few work projects after, I was so relaxed from the completely satisfying mid-day session that the stress I’d otherwise feel was well diminished. What a great way to spend the first Sunday of the new year, and being under dtm’s careful attention is just how I’d like to spend another to come. Thanks dtm and goooo Ravens!

Pedalpusher was recommended to me by a trusted referral who swapped with him regularly. Since then, we’ve been chasing each other in two hemispheres over as many years to arrange a massage and yesterday, I got confirmation that the pursuit was well worth the patience.
Firstly Pedalpusher, a complete gentleman, affable, easy to coordinate with and a really very warm man upon meeting. His massage was equally enjoyable! Firm, intentional, directed and really effective! Loved all the skill of the trigger point therapy, very effective!
Funny how despite how firm and at times “sensational” with the trigger point, I found myself waking up wondering who was snoring... this guy is highly recommended and we will keep pursing each other for a repeat session, hope it’s sooner than another two years.

It was a pleasure to meet Marianna. She was understandably and rightly cautious about meeting for the first time but hopefully now all fears allayed.

I gave a sensual massage but didn’t receive as we agreed beforehand. This was fine as I want to practice and enjoy giving more than receiving. We discussed requests and limits beforehand which I was happy to stick to.

I would be very happy to meet with Marianna again in the future, either in my own as before or with us as a couple.

Traded massages with PSGuy. Setting up the exchange was straightforward and I hosted PSGuy the next day. PSGuy was a delight to spend time - friendly and personable. Even though it was his very first exchange he appeared top be relaxed and comfortable. We took turns first massaging the backside and then the front side. I massaged PSGuy first so he could get some ideas on technique. When it was his turn he mimicked some of what I had done and then impressed me by making some adjustments/improvements to make it his own. Because he has strong hands and an intuitive touch he is a natural at massage. PSGuy delivered a pleasurable massage which was both relaxing and rejuvenating. He has my strongest recommendation and I look forward to another exchange.

I had a very relaxing and pleasant massage exchange with ruufit51.

We had a nice conversation at the beginning, where I was offered drinks. The instrumental music was playing in the background and the massage table already prepared. It felt very professional.

After getting acquainted I received a full body massage, and I was impressed by his sense of touch which was nice and gentle.
The whole experience was very satisfying, and I also enjoyed giving the massage.

It was a delightful experience and I would recommend to others too. I look forward to another exchange together.

I had a massage exchange with klondike today. As expected from a trained masseur, I was in for a good, therapeutic massage and more. klondike is a very friendly guy. Chatting with him was another highlight of this massage. In addition to his magic hands, he also uses an electric massager to add an extra touch. He is very attentive to your needs and makes sure what he does is to your liking. It was a very enjoyable and fulfilling massage. I’ll need to make time to see him again in the near future.

jons provides an outstanding massage experience. It felt as though he was doing energy work when he began the massage, using a touch that was barely perceptible yet penetrating. He uses a variety of techniques, all with a sense of flow.

He is an excellent communicator and interesting conversationalist. He is also a gracious guest and respectful of boundaries - I feel completely safe and relaxed with him.

I met with J (him) from 66massage after a few messages back and forth. We met initially for a coffee, but after a chat I felt comfortable to get on to have a sensual massage.
He brought a massage table, some oils and v nice music to relax to.
I received massage only and J was a gentleman, respecting my boundaries and requests. The massage was v good although I do prefer a firmer massage at the start which we can perhaps do next time. I would have no hesitation in recommendig and hope to see again soon.

Was lucky enough to be invited to charles4604 lovely house for an exchange yesterday. Was made to feel welcome from the moment he answered the door, we had a little get to.know each other chat first and then onto the massage.
Charles massaged me first and it was bliss, I was in a lovely state of relaxation from the start.
I have been massaged by professional masseurs in the past and this was as good if not better than most .
We then swapped and I massaged Charles and I know my limitations but was encouraged with some very kind words regarding my massaging .
All in all a great experience and am very keen to visit again and I can't recommend highly enough .

Goldee arrived exactly on time and from the start, I knew I had met a really nice guy. We chatted for a while and then got to the massage. I massaged him first and he was kind enough to say that it was an enjoyable experience for him. He said from the start that his massage skills were not as honed but I would disagree. He was very intuitive and performed a thorough massage on me after which I slept better than I have done for some time. I am hoping we can repeat the experience again soon

An arrangement made at short notice resulted not just resulted a brilliant exchange but also him sharing his wide knowledge of massage, alternative therapies, dietary issues mindfulness and mood. Widely knowledgeable and generous with sharing his knowledge and time I can only hope that I’m invited back in the not to distant future!

Arriving late morning and leaving Ari’s home late evening I came away energised, upbeat and with a wealth of hints tips and pointers, to say nothing of a clutch of cd’s for mood setting.
