Turu is the complete masseur; he has all of technique, observation, knowledge, variety, empathy, and balance in abundance. It is rare indeed to find such a versatile and effective masseur. I learned a lot from him, and thoroughly enjoyed massaging him too.
Very highly recommended to you all; I certainly want to swap massages with this man on a regular basis

kitesurfer8 (KS8) and I exchanged recently. He is a gentleman who quickly put me at ease with his forthright manner and sense of humour.

KS8 enjoys a light touch with a massage. As this is a new experience for me, he demonstrated on me first. I had no idea a light touch could be so stimulating while managing to delve as deeply as it does. While he was working on my back I completely lost track of where he might be standing: I had only the sensation of angelic fingers descending from Heaven to work their wonders.

Good feedback can be very important to a successful session. I fear I may have failed to provide adequate feedback for KS8. This was definitely not a problem when I was working on him. His responsiveness provided the perfect stimulus to encourage my efforts.

I hope this was my first of many encounters with KS8, and I wish him well in his adventures in massage land.

I really enjoyed my massage with Liz. I felt it to be very soothing and comforting.
Liz demonstrates deep tissue expertise. I felt my muscles delineated by
her touch. The massage was deep but the effect was pleasurably soft and fluid. The muscular sensation I felt was one of pliability.

I have visited Javeachica during my visit to the South of England. The reception was extraordinary. This therapist is so dedicated and has a very fine touch, never too soft and pressure there where needed. An excellence sence for the knots and a very gentle and relaxing massage. Verye patiently took plenty of time. I missed a part of the massage because it relaxed me into a powernap. Sorry for that Javeachica! She is a true ambassador for the kown hospitalty of the Brittish. The trip to Winchester was more than worthwhile to undertake and I will certainly return when opportunity knocks. Verye much recommended.

I have the pleasure of exchanging with hertsthrob earlier this week and it was a very enjoyable experience. hertsthrob is polite and engaging and was kind enough to bring his massage table along too. His technique is very good using a variety of strokes and firm pressure. I had bene to gym earlier and after hertsthrob had finished with me I was very relaxed and ready for a nap! Turu arrives with an aura of relaxation, ease and well-being and this immediately informed our massage exchange. His strokes have a fantastic variety of weight and depth, that gently, yet firmly, moved my body into an increasingly relaxed space. This was a truly rewarding massage exchange, both in terms of what I was able to give and receive. As Dallas1951's profile mentions, he is HIV positive. I'm not. Both I and my wife of 20 years grew up in the height of the AIDS scare in the 80's. But I also know that if I harbor my ignorance and isolate from "those people", we both lose in the process.

Dallas1951 is a patient and thorough massage giver. I never had the sense that there was any rush so that he could have his turn. In fact, I think it was the longest massage I've ever had. But again, there was never any sense that it was an issue. He truly enjoyed giving the gift.

And when it was his turn, it was equally positive. He gave good feedback about what felt good and what muscles needed work - based on his feedback I think we found some around the ribs, shoulder, and body cavity that don't usually get attention. He was appreciative of what I gave, and perfectly respectful of my boundaries.

He is also fun just to talk to. :-)

I met with findinout today, for a great session. His beautiful home is located in a peaceful rural setting. This was my first massage session with a male stranger, so I was not sure what to expect. He immediately put me at ease by how he invited me into his home. After I explained my lack of formal training and experience, he took the lead and showed me his techniques. His talented hands had me in such a relaxed state that I kept forgetting that I was suppose to be paying attention to technique so that I could perform competently when it became my turn be the giver. He was a caring, helpful coach when it was my turn to go to work. I guess I must have paid enough attention, as he did not have any complaints about my efforts when all was said and done. I recommend him and will defiantly be setting up exchanges with him in the future.

Shumail is an excellent masseuse, very thorough and patient, with a wonderful touch, strong when needed, gentle where necessary as well. He knowledge of technique is superb and rarely have I ever experienced a massage we good as hers. She spent over an hour working on me and cured my sciatica pain entirely. I could not recommend her more highly!

Had a Great massage swap with Turu. He's a very nice and genuine fella. I was totally at ease with him. At the start of the massage his strokes were constant and re-assuring and then I promptly fell asleep!
I always like to take away some moves from a massage exchange that I can incorporate into my routine, however for me a good exchange totally relaxes me and it was testament to Turu's routine and manner that I fell asleep and never got to recall in detail those moves which really did it for me. So.... there's only one thing for it..... I would love another exchange sometime! 5 stars!

Pete is a superb masseur - I do a lot of swaps and have many reviews myself, but Petes massage was one of the best I have ever had. He "reads" your reactions and massages accordingly, he is highly creative and his long strokes are simply suberb. I also learnt from him and will be adjusting my technique following his help. I cant wait to meet him again because as well as getting a fantastic massage I know with him I will be able to grow......

I had a massage exchange with Digger63, yesterday. Although this was his first exchange he was very intuitive & responsive. His pressure was excellent and he took his time. He is keen to learn and an excellent pupil. We spent a very pleasant afternoon massaging and socialising. I would certainly recommend Digger63. I am sure that, in no time at all, he will develop his own routine and be able to adapt his skills & techniques to suit the occasion, warranting a 5 star rating. Today I had my very first exchange, and I was fortunate enough for it to be with Mutual. As a novice I can only say "Wow", he does set the bar high. If I grow to half his skill, I'll consider myself an accomplished exchange partner. As a teacher he was considerate and caring; his touch was the right mix of firm and light. And his attention to detail is faultless. Some people wax about falling asleep during sessions; I was far too stimulated for that to happen. If you haven't yet taken the opportunity, do try Mutual.
